Luanda - The singers Belita Palma and Lourdes Van Dúnem were, last Friday night, in Luanda, remembered in a musical live show, held at the “Palácio de Ferro” cultural center.
In a moment of great nostalgia, the artists Ângela Ferrão and Guiselda Portelho "Celda" gave voice to those who were considered the pillar of the Angolan songbook, with regard to the female gender, without demeaning other artists who also marked an era at the time.
With a repertoire of 13 songs by the honorees, the public present at the Palácio de Ferro heard "Caminho do Mato", "Monami", "Imbwa kegia Ngana Ié", "Nguxi", "4 de Fevereiro" and others, in the voices of the two artists .
For artist Ângela Ferrão, it was a responsibility, as they were great artists of Angolan popular music.
In this 2nd edition of the section, the idea was to immerse the artistic journey of these two references of national music that contributed greatly to Angolan culture.
Belita Palma was the lead singer of the Ngola Ritmos band. Singer Lourdes Van-Dúnem came to prominence in the 1969s, also with the same band, with whom she recorded her first album “Monami”. ANM/ART/CF/DOJ
