Huambo – At least 50 children and young people of the central Huambo province are since Monday attending an artistic training course held by the “Sonho Arte" project, Angop has learnt.
The five-day training course is being administered by two trainers from Huambo and Luanda provinces, and focuses on upgrading the children and youths on the basic concepts of dance, theater, music and other artistic trades.
Isolete Rosa Laurindo, coordinator of the Sonho Arte project, has said the initiative aims to contribute to the discovery of new talents and the moralization of society, making the target group refrain from anti-social practices and embrace art.
The first edition of the training session was held in 2018, in the city of Huambo and had the participation of children and young people, mostly belonging to theater and dance groups.
