Luanda - Government officials and politicians continue to express feelings of sadness at the death of musician Nagrelha, which occurred on Friday in Luanda, 18th, due to illness.
Among the government officials who reacted to the death of the Kuduro style musician are minister Marcy Lopes and the governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem.
Marcy Lopes writes that Angolan culture became poorer with the loss of one of the greatest exponents of Kuduro, the irreplaceable Nagrelha - Estado Maior.
The governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem, said that the death of Nagrelha leaves a huge void for the people of Luanda.
"In this moment of loss and pain, I ask that God comfort the hearts of the relatives and fans of this icon of Angolan music who leaves us unexpectedly", reads his message.
For the politician João Pinto, who also mourns the death of the biggest kuduro star, says that Nagrelha marked the history of Angolan music in the 21st century.
The emblematic singer was the author of several successful songs such as "Não me Tarraxa Assim", "Wamona", "Katronga Violenta", "Dizumba Grande", "Banzelo", "Toque do Nana", "Comboio", "Provou e Gostou", among other musical themes.
