Luanda - Brazilian pianist Ricardo Castro on Saturday, in the Province of Luanda, entertained the 2nd edition of the Ngana Zenza Foundation gala, with songs by the German composer and pianist Beethoven.
The gala, which took place under the motto “Believe, embrace and transform”, was attended by the Head of State, João Lourenço, the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança Costa, and members of the government.
In a very colorful environment, Orchestra Kapossoka took the stage and sang "Olonamba" by Justino Handanga, "Namuleleno" by Sassa Tchokwe, "Meu Kota" by Ivan Alexei, "Pa fe mwen la pen”, by Éric Virgal, “Tata Nkento” by Teta Lando, “Rebita” by Banda Maravilha, “Avó Beia” Pedrito and “Belina” by Artur Nunes.
During the event, a short video was shown about the Foundation, its projects and some actions developed.
After auctioning off several works of art and some dresses belonging to the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, the generational duet formed by Dom Caetano and Yola Semedo, sang "Uejia Ki Usokana", "Angolana", "Sou kizombeira" and "Você me abana."
The Ngana Zenza Foundation for Community Development (FDC) was created on February 20, 2020 and its patron is the First Lady of the Republic of Angola, Ana Dias Lourenço.
