Luanda - Teenager Grace Solange Araújo, known in the literary world as "Otchaly", on Sunday in the Province of Luanda launched and autographed her book entitled "Determinação, a minha história com o bullying" (Determination, my story with bullying).
The 15-year-old author revealed to ANGOP that she was the victim of psychological and verbal bullying and that she put her experience and how she overcame the situation into the book.
The 29-page book, according to Otchaly, also aims to show or teach parents the different signs that children can show when they are being bullied.
The book was published by Clé Entertainment, with whom the author is committed to publicising and fighting bullying.
Otchaly took her first steps into literature at the age of 6, writing about the life and important role of activist Rosa Parks in the fight for civil rights for African Americans in the 20th century.
With the launch of this book, she now has two literary works, the first of which, entitled "Queen Njinga Mbande", will be launched in 2020.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, attended the book launch ceremony, as did the Minister of State for Social Affairs, Dalva Ringote, the Municipal Administrator of Luanda, Milca Caquesse, friends and family of the writer, among other guests. JAM/VIC/jmc
