Luanda - MT theatre production company will present the play entitled “Vinganças Pendentes” (Pending Revenge) on the 7th of this month, in the auditorium of Njinga Mbande secondary school, in Luanda.
Speaking to ANGOP on Thursday, the MT manager Nádia da Silva David, said that the play, to be performed by actresses Poca Py, Elizabeth Caley and Sílvia Helena, portrays the story of three women sexually abused by two people close to them, as well as by someone unknown.
According to her, the work aims to show society that the crime of sexual abuse is generally committed by people close to the victim, which is why everyone must be alert to act quickly, bringing the person involved to justice.
“Revenge is not the best option, taking revenge upon yourself brings serious consequences, go to justice”, she emphasized.
The company, founded on October 1, 2023, has already shown the play “My father is my husband”.
