Luanda - The national plan for the reorganization of the carnival aims to transform this cultural art into a touristic and profitable product for the country and its doers, reaffirmed last Saturday the minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Jomo Fortunato.
For the achievement of the plan, the number of revellers in Carnival must be defined for the central parade, holding of debates with its stakeholders to have a more organized, modernized and participatory festival.
According to the minister, who was speaking at the award handover ceremony for the winners of 2021 Live Carnival, it is important to improve the structure of Carnival, reorganize the internal structure of the groups and the profitability of their headquarters, transform the groups into associations, motivate the realization of Carnival in the provinces.
