Luanda - The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, Jomo Fortunato, Sunday, said the ministry is dismayed over the death of the percussionist, composer and Dikanza master, José Domingos "Zé Fininho".
The former member of the band Semba Tropical died Saturday, in Luanda, victim of illness.
Zé Fininho, born in 1947, started his artistic career in the 60s, in the musical group "Os Pequenos Sivucas". Later, he was invited to be part of the group "Negoleiros do Ritmo", where he stayed for about 16 years.
In 1982, he was invited to found the musical group Semba Tropical, of the then State Secretariat of Culture.
