Camões Institute and Movart present "Não há cura" project


Luanda - An exhibition called "There is no cure" a work of five women is on display since Monday at the Instituto Camões in Luanda.

The Angolan artists Alice Marcelino, Indira Grandê and Pamina Sebastião, and the Portuguese Carlota Bóia Neto and Daniela Vietas, present unusual works that include installation, photography, video and object theater, which question the imposition of spaces, curatorial guidelines and social conventions.

Speaking to Angop, Pamina Sebastião said her work represents categories inscribed in the construction of a body as a decisive element in power relations.
