Talatona – An exhibition of agricultural products and African clothing has been available to the public since Monday at Expo-jubilee 2024, in an initiative of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World ( Tocoistas).
The event, which takes place from January 29th to February 4th, 2024, brought together 44 exhibitors with the aim of boosting entrepreneurship within Tocoista Youth and beyond.
Products such as bananas, cassava, peanut, potatoes, palm oil, cassava roasted flour, vegetables (onion, tomato and cucumber), African costumes, wedding dresses and telecommunications devices mark the exhibition and sales at Expo-Jubileu 2024.
Speaking to the press after the guided tour, the top leader of the Tocista Dom Afonso Nunes highlighted that the event marks the beginning of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Tocoista Youth and the international days that will take place until July this year in the city of Ntaya, Maquela do Zombo, province of Uíge, where the remains of the founder of the church Simão Toco rest.
“Tocoista youth around the world are preparing for the day. I cannot estimate the number of attendees, but it is over millions and we will continue to work with government help to accommodate them for this expected event”, he said.
For the Bishop, young people must learn to undertake from an early age, without depending on higher education, young people must be taught to be autonomous, financially and business-independent, only in this way will the number of jobs increase and opportunities will be given to others.
Dom Afonso Nunes took the opportunity to show his support for the national football team participating in the AFCON2023 championship, through prayer.
In turn, the General Representative of Tocoista Youth, Luindula Mabanza Lukike, considered that the Angolan market offers a set of opportunities and that from this fair young people can awaken their spirit of entrepreneurship and then seek financing. CHALK/MAG/CF/DOJ
