Talatona - The winners of the 2022 National Journalism Prize were awarded Wednesday, in Luanda, in an act presided over by the minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media, Mário Oliveira.
The journalists Victória Maviluka (winner) of Novo Jornal newspaper, Teresa Fukiady (2nd place) also from Novo Jornal, and Matias Adriano (3rd place) from Jornal dos Desportos sports paper, in Malanje Province, were all awarded in the press category.
In the Radio category, the journalists Dito Tavares (winner) of Radio Malanje, Aristides Kito (2nd placed) of Radio Cuando-Cubango, and Etelvino Domingos (3rd placed) of Radio Cuanza Norte won the referred category.
In the Television category won the journalists Isidro Sanhanga (winner) of the public television (TPA), Walter Marcelino (2nd place) also of TPA, and Carlos Capitango (3rd placed) of TV Zimbo .
The Photojournalism category prize was taken by the journalists António Soares (winner) of Jornal de Angola, in Cabinda province, Pedro Parente (2nd place) of ANGOP, and César Magalhães of Jornal Expansão newspaper.
The winners in each category were awarded with a bronze trophy, a certificate and the monetary amount of 2.5 million kwanzas.
The runners-up received a certificate and 1.5 million kwanzas, while third prize winners received a certificate and a monetary amount of 500 000 kwanzas.
On the occasion the minister Mário Oliveira congratulated the winners calling on everyone to continue to work hard to improve the quality of the published subjects.
