Luanda - Miss Luanda gala event is scheduled to be held on September 28th aiming to elect the woman who will represent the province in Miss Angola 2024, the president of the committee, Cavisita Lemos, said on Friday.
According to him, who was speaking at a press conference, 22 candidates from the municipalities of Cazenga, Talatona, Luanda and Viana will compete in the contest.
The candidates from the municipalities of Cacuaco and Quissama will only represent their areas on this occasion, to witness the contest winner.
She said that they will be prepared with training in various disciplines, with emphasis on national languages.
The official highlighted that the requirements that enable candidates to participate are high school graduates or higher education students, aged between 18 and 28 years old, single and without children.
The edition of Miss Luanda will take place under the theme "National languages in the digital age", with the aim of preserving them.
In 2023, Luanda was represented by Miss Maura Claudia Sebastião Cango, resident at the time in the municipality of Cacuaco, who competed with 24 candidates.
