Luanda- The Angolan movie "E se as Mulheres Fossem Unidas? (What if women were united)", acting Henrique Costa Jr., is expected to be debuted at local cinemas on April 30.
The film is to be screened at Cinemax in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Huambo and Huíla with drama that promises to catch everyone’s attention.
The film portrays problems around adultery and marriage between women, themes that are discussed a little bit throughout the Angolan society.
"First of all, I hope that Angolans can identify with this work, regardless of their perspective, especially people who are already married, because the film is a reality that this group faces or may face. I also hope that the film will become a real gateway to new paths for national cinema, which still lacks a major investment," Costa Jr said.
"What if women were united?" is the third cinematographic work of the 25-year old Angolan director.
