Luanda - Angolan writer Mpaulu Poeta Sol is scheduled to launch on Friday in Luanda Province, his fifth book in digital format, entitled "Loukos por Nkembo", to honor the Tocoista movement.
The book, with 29 pages, is divided into three chapters and contains 21 poems.
Speaking to ANGOP, on Wednesday, the writer informed that with the launch of the book he intends to transmit messages about God to the population through poetry, as well as encourage the massification of literature and a taste for writing and reading.
"The book was written in just one month and will be made available, free of charge, on all digital platforms. With the work I intend to pay homage to the Tocoista movement, at the country level and beyond, and transmit messages of love, that is why I chose this title which in the Kikongo language means crazy for joy and rejoicing. Some close people, colleagues and friends also enriched the work with some texts", he highlighted.
“Mpaulu Poeta Sol”, is the literary pseudonym of Mpaulo Rodrigues Aguiar, who was born on May 17, 1988, in the urban district of Ingombota, province of Luanda.
The author has published four books, namely "Reticências" (2023), "Poemas Reticentes" (2020), "D Tudo 1 Copo" (2021), "Casei Com Minha Irmã?" (2022) and "Os Meninos e o Coelho" (2024), the last four of which are in digital format. MEL/MCN/MRA/DOJ
