Luanda - Registration for the literature competition runs from June 18th to July 12th of this year, as part of the 4th edition of the Letras Awards Gala, the mentor of the Angolan Literary Community (CLA), André Manuel said Thursday in Luanda Province.
CLA is the promoter of the competition and the letters gala event.
Speaking to ANGOP, he said that the competition aims to reward several categories, from poetry, poets, publishing, literary movements, among others.
For André Manuel, this is the biggest Angolan literary competition, due to the number of categories and awards scheduled for 27th of July.
He said that the winners will be awarded with participation certificates, winners' trophies, books, and other prizes.
The 3rd edition was held in June 2023, with the categories of best library, children's literature moment and reading suggestion.
