Luanda – A total of 30 groups from class B compete Sunday for five places to raise to class A category, which is the main category of contenders of the 2025 Luanda Carnival.
Among the contestants highlight goes to historic União 54 group, which is one of the oldest carnival groups in Luanda that, due to their poor performance last in the 2023 edition was relegated to class b category.
Despite competing in the secondary class, the rivalry, excitement and dispute use to be hard which prepares them for the main parade
Several groups will represent the districts of Maianga, Rangel, Kilamba Kiaxi, Samba, Sambizanga and Cacuaco.
In class B, the first place will receive five million kwanzas, the second will receive three million kwanzas and the third one two million kwanzas.
