Viana - The carnival groups from Viana Municipality, who paraded in class A, hope to continue among the eight best classified in the Luanda Carnival.
The president of União Juventude Unida do Kapalanga, Eugénio Filipe, hoped for a fair and transparent result of the 2024 edition of the Luanda Carnival.
The group paraded with the Kazukuta dance, with a plot about the Cearte art school and the song Chicola Ulonga Ufunu.
The head of União Njinga Mbandi, Tony Mulato, said that the group did its best and that it will continue to work to dignify the municipality of Viana.
The association's commander also said goodbye in this edition, passing on his legacy to the young people.
"I will continue in the group as president and no longer as commander, but working towards carnival", he highlighted.
The group União Njinga Mbandi took the Cabecinha dance to the marginal, with a choreography on the appreciation of national dances. Founded in 1979, it has two class A titles in its portfolio.
The two groups paraded in the 5th edition of the Viana carnival, a promotion by the municipal administration, without a competitive nature.
In addition to the groups from Viana, groups from Cazenga and Maianga districts also participated.
