Luanda - Exhibition of paintings, books, poetry recital and singing in trove marked the opening on Friday of the first edition of the Literature and Plastic Arts Festival.
The event celebrates the Day of the African Continent to be marked on May 25 and is being promoted by the Youth Literature Brigade of Angola (BJLA) and Youth Brigade of Plastic Arts (BJAP).
Adão Mussungo, head of the BJAP, said the event aims to unite the two brigades of Literature and Plastic Arts, to follow the legacy that great masters have left and to testify to the Angolan public, above all the young people and to greet Africa day.
BJAP's main objective is to recruit, support and mentor new talents in the Angolan visual arts, it also BJLA aims to discover young talents in the field of creative writing.
