Cabinda - The Tchiacu-Tchiacu group won on Tuesday the 2024 edition of the Cabinda Carnival in Cabinda province, in the adult class, with 1030 points.
The group revalidated the title and, therefore, will receive one million and 500 thousand kwanzas as a prize.
The carnival group Kotukua Tu Mokna came in second place with 1009 points, with a prize of one million kwanzas.
With 980 points, the IPAGEC group, from the Cabassango neighborhood, came in third place, which will receive eight hundred thousand kwanzas, followed by Escola da Santa Catarina, with 960 points, collecting five hundred thousand kwanzas.
Isabel dos Santos, from the Mamonso Ntango group, from the 4 de Fevereiro neighborhood, was classified as queen of the 2024 Carnival provincial parade, who scored 390 points.
In the children's class, the Teka Bi Nyoyo group, from the Lombo-Lombo neighborhood, was the winner, with 1045 points, followed by Bikudu Binkuenda Bikudu Bisiala, also from the Lombo-Lombo neighborhood (1010 points), Bana Ndembama, from the Zangoio neighborhood, with 935.
In 2023, the carnival group Tchiacu-Tchiacu won the adult class and Bikudu Binkuenda Bikudu Bisiala won the children's class. ING/JFC/OHA/DOJ
