Luanda - The national coordinator of the 2nd Luanda Biennial- Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace, Sita José, has been in touch, over the past few days, with international organizations based in Brussels, as part of the preparation of the event to be held in October this year.
Sita José, who was accompanied by the Angolan ambassador in that European country, Mário de Azevedo Constantino, held meetings with representatives of the Group of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OEACP), the European Union and the UNESCO Office in Brussels.
According to the Angolan official, the meeting aimed to establish a line of institutional cooperation between the inter-ministerial commission and the group of OEACP states, among which 48 of them are African countries.
Sita José praised the role of the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States, as an extra- strategic partner of the European Union in relation to the relevance that is given to culture as a support to bring people closer together.
