Caxito – A project dubbed “Irmandade Gospel" (Gospel Brotherhood) has been launched with the aim to revive the gospel music made in Bengo province and to discover new talents.
The project brings together musicians and producers of Bengo who are recording an album to be released later this year and perform shows to put the gospel music in the spotlight.
The promotional song of the project titled "God is the Greatest" has already been made available in different digital platforms.
Speaking to ANGOP, the musician Vladimir Gospel stressed the importance of the project since it brings together singers from different religious and Christian denominations to evangelize through music.
Vladimir Gospel also said he believes gospel music has been undervalued and many producers do not bet on this style because they consider it not financially profitable.
