Lobito - Members of the Union of Artists and Composers of Angola’s 18 provinces received on Friday, clarifications on the new regulations to obtain the professional card.
Speaking in a teleconference, the head of the association, Zeca Moreno, explained that, despite the fact that the card has existed for some years, it has undergone some amendments and will have a new presentation.
According to Zeca Moreno, notwithstanding the categories of amateur, semi-professional and professional, only the last two will be entitled to the card.
"The semi-professional card will be given to artists who exercise the activity partially, while the professional card will be for those who exercise in full-time basis, “Moreno said.
The Professional Card Commission will be responsible for issuing, renewing, suspending, or revoking the document.
Another innovation to be implemented by the institution is the introduction of the artists' autobiographies in its portal to be known worldwide.
