Geneva – Angolan artist Eduardo Zabila Messo has one of his works on display at the collective painting exhibition, with the theme “HelvetArt Exhibition”.
The mentioned exhibition, which ends on October 20th of this year, brings together works by 11 artists from various parts of the world and takes place in one of the hotels in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.
According to a note from the Institutional Communication and Press Services of the Permanent Mission of Angola to the United Nations and other International Organizations, in Geneva, ANGOP had access to on Monday, the sample was sent on August 23rd.
Under the artistic guidance of the curator, Inna Wars, the exhibition is an authentic global sample that brings together plastic painters from Angola, Los Angeles, Finland and Switzerland.
It also aims to bring closer art from different parts of the work, as well as several ways to display culture through painting with highlight to figurative and abstract styles and oil on canvas and acrylic on canvas techniques.
The Angolan artist lives in Switzerland, Zurich and presents the work “The awakening of the Warrior 1" in size 120x80 cm, painted in oil on canvas.
“I consider my participation in this exhibition important, where I share space with counterparts from other parts of the world. It is not the first time that I have participated in a collective exhibition, but it is the first time that I have done so in the city of Geneva, with this international experience I will learn much more”, he said.
Eduardo Zabila Messo was born in Luanda, on October 14, 1989, and has been drawing and painting since a young age, but only at the end of 2018 did painting become his main work activity.
He has already won second place in the Carrousel du Louvre 2022/France exhibition. He had a recognition by the Organization of African Descendants Zurich, which works to promote and promote African talents in the diaspora. OHA/MRA/DOJ
