Luanda - Angola musician and songwriter Anselmo Ralph will perform a musical show with live recording, on November 9th of the current year, at Arena Ralph, in Luanda, as part of the celebration of his 20 years of career.
In an announcement made this Wednesday, on his social media pages, the singer writes “it’s going to be historic”.
Anselmo Ralph is back in the spotlight after releasing, on August 21st, his most recent album entitled "SOLA" with appearances by North American artists Rick Ross and Spanish artist Soge Culebra.
Throughout his career, the Angolan singer covered R&B, Soul music and Kizomba styles, having discovered his passion for music in Madrid, Spain, where he lived for a few years.
He was part of the group NGB (New Generation Band) with whom he recorded his 1st album.
He was named "Best R&B Singer" by the South African television channel Channel O and by the "MTV Europe Music Awards 2006", where he received the award in the "Best African Artist" category.
In 2011, Anselmo Ralph conquered the market with the maxi single from the album "A Dor Do Cupido", which in just two days sold 42 thousand copies, reaching 90 thousand copies in the following three months. It quickly became a huge national and international success.
He joined the mentor panel in the second season of The Voice Portugal and that year became the winner with competitor Rui Drumond. Since then, he has become known for his good ability to remain in the spotlight.
