About the festival
Voted New Jersey's favourite visual arts festival, the event will showcase the "cross-cultural perspectives" of Newark's diverse arts community, as well as national and international voices in the arts.
Exclusive to this year's festival, there will be a spotlight on the contributions of Newark-area hip hop pioneers in celebration of the musical style's 50th anniversary.
