Luanda - The Permanent Mission of Angola to the United Nations Offices and other International Organisations in Geneva, Switzerland, is participating in the 5th edition of celebration of the Portuguese Language Day on Friday (05).
The event will be held under the slogan "flavours of the (Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries ) CPLP".
Angola which chairs the rotating presidency of the CPLP, will coordinate the event, also to be attended by Mozambique, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Portugal, East Timor and Equatorial Guinea.
The celebration of the Portuguese Language day by the Permanent Missions, members of CPLP, based in Geneva, is held every year.
In 2000, the event did not take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
