Luanda - Angola's participation in the 48th edition of the World Tourism Fair, held for three days in Paris, France, was marked by high-level cultural presentations and artistic innovation, with a rich and varied program that allowed a series of presentations that delighted the audience present.
Among the main attractions, the highlight was the band Angocultura, which performed with excellence songs by the most important contemporary national musicians, demonstrating the strength and diversity of Angolan musical production, according to a press release obtained by ANGOP on Saturday.
It adds that the traditional group Vindjomba brought to the stage the peculiarities of the costumes of the south-eastern region of Angola, accompanied by unique dances and songs that excited the audience present, which throughout the event entertained those present with master classes in dikanza and marimba, and also had its space to present a harmonious symbiosis between traditional and contemporary music.
The Semba and Kizomba dances, considered fundamental elements of Angolan culture, showed that they are one of the artistic expressions that make up the daily life of many countries.
Later, a performance by the Dikanza do Semba School highlighted the extraordinary and dynamic nature of these artistic expressions and was applauded by the audience.
As the event comes to an end this Sunday, Angola's historic participation in this international event for the first time is expected to leave lasting memories and open new avenues for the promotion of the country's tourism and culture.
The third day of the World Tourism Fair reaffirmed Angola's commitment to show the world its cultural wealth and its capacity for innovation in promoting unique tourism experiences.
