Luanda - The head of the Angolan Theatre Association (AAT), Adelino Caracol, on Saturday stressed the need for regular support from the State for the production, incentive and promotion of performing arts in the country.
Adelino Caracol, who was speaking to ANGOP on the fringes of the 2nd round table on theatre, in the scope of the World Day of the Theatre, said the support would include subsidy of publicity, infrastructures and the inclusion of the theatre in social and financial education of the State policies.
According to Adelino Caracol, the agents of the sector should get united to find the right paths and understand what motivates each other and draw common strategies for the development of the art.
Adelino Caracol added that the conflict between the old and the new generation can be discussed with aim to identify the mistakes of the past and indicate paths so the same mistakes of the past are not repeated.
