Luanda – The scenic art collective group A Voz do Saber is to exhibit the theatrical play entitled "Tropas das Ruas" (Street Troops) on November 15th this year, in the African League auditorium, in Luanda Province.
Speaking to ANGOP on Friday, Alfredo Álvaro, director of the group, said that the play portrays the story of a young man who enters the world of crime, after losing his mother, who was a street vendor and was killed by vending inspectors, as well as as for being rejected by his family.
He added that with the story, they intend to transmit the message that, regardless of life circumstances, human beings have to be strong to overcome adversity.
The group was founded on April 4, 2011, in the municipality of Dande, Bengo Province, and currently has permanent headquarters in Luanda for the past six years.
"Sequelas do facebook", "Pacto tradicional", "O desespero", "A doméstica" e "Carácter roubado", are some of their works already performed.
The group is made up of 15 members, men and women.
