Ramiros - The Independent University of Angola (UNIA) will reinforce exchanges with universities in other Portuguese-speaking countries, with the aim to enrich their methods and improve the curriculum.
The intention was expressed by the institution´s CEO, Elias Chimuco, during the inauguration of the UNIA Management Bodies.
According to him, the university has contact with countries such as Brazil, Cabo Verde and Portugal, to solidify the institution's expansion project.
Internally, he said, they intend to expand services to those provinces with a shortage of higher education institutions.
Elias Chimuco informed that, in the next academic year, through the Piedoso Foundation, UNIA will work to offer scholarships to citizens from vulnerable families.
In his intervention, the official requested the institution´s partners for greater commitment to social, technical and technological transformations.
