Luanda - A training cycle, within the scope of the project “Zero sexual violence against children in communities”, begins on Tuesday, in Luanda, promoted by the Regional Secretariat for Southern Africa of the Pan-African Women's Organization (PAWO).
According to a press release, sent this Monday to ANGOP, the initiative is a partnership with the Ministry of Social Action, Family and Promotion of Women, represented by the National Children's Institute (INAC).
It will involve different players from the civil society, in order to identify cases of sexual violence against children.
The training aims to encourage a culture of reporting (denunciation) and providing support to victims and will be guided by PAWO's regional secretary for Southern Africa, Luzia English Van-Dúnem “Inga”.
PAWO was created with the aim of discussing the role of women in rebuilding Africa, combating the AIDS' spread, illiteracy and promoting peace and democracy.
