Luanda - The Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Maria do Rosário Bragança, on Thursday, in Luanda, called on for greater interaction and cooperation between the government and higher education institutions, to improve scientific research in the country.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 1st National Council of Sciences, Technology and Innovation, the government official called for more involvement in best teaching practices, including investigation of the topics to be presented in classes.
For her, university instructors are inherently researchers, so they should not neglect researching topics before addressing them in classes.
“Research can contribute to developing and supporting technological innovation", highlighted the government official at the event that aims to analyze policies and programs to encourage and promote scientific research, technological development and innovation.
The event addresses topics such as the proposed regulation for evaluating the performance of scientific researchers in the national science, technology and innovation system and the results of the collection of science, technology and innovation indicators.
