Luanda – Angola’s Education Ministry (MED) will conduct the second period of national exams across the country between June 14 and 15, 2023.
In its note, delivered to ANGOP, the Ministerial Department states that the national exams concern students from eight public, public-private and private primary and general secondary education institutions.
The tests aim to assess the learning level of student and evaluate the current situation of the school system, through the evaluation carried out by an external entity.
At this stage, some 37,854 students, from grades 6th, 9th and 12th, will be evaluated in the subjects of the Portuguese language and mathematics.
The tests will take place in pre-selected schools (called “Examination Centres”) and will last 90 minutes for 6th grades and 120 minutes for 9th and 12th grades.
