Luanda – The Ministry of Education announced 15, 000 vacancies for direct integration of the candidates with positive results in previous tests, but who had not been hired due to lack of vacancies.
This was announced by the incumbent minister, Luisa Grilo, at a press conference, adding that the integration will be divided into two phases.
The first is due in June for 7,500 places, and the last stage scheduled for July and will benefit the same number.
Luísa Grilo recalled that there will not be a new programme of the kind until the sector integrates all candidates, with best results, who had not been hired in last tender.
In the first term, started in 2017, the President João Lourenço directed to take entrance exams on a regular basis.
Some 18,656 teachers were hired during the first tender held in 2018. While in 2019, 10,000 were admitted in the second tender.
The sector currently has around 210,674 teachers.
