Ndalatando - The Higher Pedagogical School (ESPCN) and the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Ndalatando (ISPNd), in the province of Cuanza-Norte, have 1,635 vacancies available for the 2024/25 academic year, ANGOP learned Thursday.
According to the Deputy-General Director for the Academic Area of the Cuanza-Norte's Higher Pedagogical Schools 795 places were made available, of which 445 are for the regular period and 350 are after work.
The institution has 90 vacancies for each of the Biology, Geography, History and Primary Education courses, 35 for each of the Physics, French Language and English Language courses, 95 for the Portuguese Language, 75 for Mathematics and 80 for the Preschool.
To register, the interested party must present the certificate with a minimum grade of 12 in the core subjects of the course in which they wish to compete.
So far, the institution has 86 teachers, of which 15 are Cuban nationals, a number that could grow with the addition of 19 more teachers in the 2024/2025 academic year.
Since its institutionalization in 2004, ESPCN has trained 3,190 graduates in educational sciences in the specialties of Biology, Geography, History, Primary education, Physics, French, English and Portuguese Languages, Mathematics and Pre-school.
Higher Polytechnic Institute
At the Ndalatando Higher Polytechnic Institute (ISPNd), there are 840 vacancies for the 2024/25 academic year, according to the institution's vice-president for Academic Affairs, Lucas Cassinda.
The vacancies are handled among the courses of Public Administration, Accounting, Management, Clinical Analysis, Public Health, Electrical Engineering, IT, Nursing and Law.
The ISPNd has 67 teachers, of which 41 are permanent.
The province of Cuanza-Norte currently has three higher education institutions, two of which are public, namely the Higher Pedagogical Schools and the Ndalatando Higher Polytechnic Institute, as well as a private one allocated to the Angola International Higher Institute (ISIA).
