Luanda - An exhibition of technological equipment has been on show since Tuesday in the city of Ndalatando, in Cuanza-Norte province, as part of the institution's IV Scientific Conference.
Called "Innovative Ideas and Technology-Based Entrepreneurship", the event features, among other equipment, circuits for school and business management, systems for controlling the vandalisation of electricity towers, manual traffic lights, as well as research work in the areas of biology and pathology
Opening the event, the governor of Cuanza-Norte, João Diogo Gaspar, praised the initiative, stressing that it will help strengthen exchanges between teachers, students and researchers from the institution and beyond, as well as developing scientific research skills.
"This event presents solutions to problems affecting society, showcasing work in the areas of social sciences, engineering and economics, in the search for solid and sustainable development," he emphasised.
For his part, the chairman of the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Ndalatando, João Francisco de Sousa, reaffirmed the institution's commitment to creating laboratory infrastructures and opening new courses to strengthen scientific research in various fields of knowledge.
He revealed that during the event, they will address current scientific issues with the aim to contribute to the strengthening of the professional skills of teachers and students and disseminate scientific knowledge.
Created in 2020, the Polytechnic Institute of Ndalatando has courses such as law, public administration, accounting and management, computer management, clinical analyses and electrical engineering. LJ/IMA/MCN/MRA/DOJ
