Talatona - National and international researchers in the areas of management, sport, education and health started on Tuesday sharing technical and scientific research experience in Luanda during the 8th International Management Congress.
During the three-day event, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, promote innovative practices and share research results in areas such as science and technology, environmental sustainability and social and gender equality.
Organized by the Gregorio Semedo University (UGS), the work is focused on the development of science, with the aim of keeping up with the dynamic changes in the sector, in terms of scientific and technical research around the world.
With this in mind, the university is holding the 8th International Congress on Management, Sports Administration and Education (GADE 2024) over three days, on the theme ‘Innovation and Sustainable Transformation in Administrative, Sports and Educational Management: Challenges and Opportunities’.
The congress, which takes place in virtual format, broadcast in real time via the available digital platforms, addresses scientific development as a means of keeping up with global changes in the science and technology sectors and brings together sportspeople, students, academic entrepreneurs and researchers in the areas of management, sport, education and health.
The GADE-UGS 2024 program includes pre-congress courses, keynote lectures, panel discussions and presentations of research papers in both face-to-face and online sessions.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, UGS Chancellor Professor José Semedo highlighted the science and technology as the driving force behind human emancipation and knowledge and the most important weapon against social exclusion.
‘Today, as we celebrate 20 years of the institution, we are holding the conference, organized by RED GADE in Angola, to create a platform for the exchange of experiences between national and international speakers,’ he said.
