Soyo - The Higher Institute Nimi ya Lukeni (INSPUNYL), located in the municipality of Soyo, province of Zaire, works towards its affirmation in the international ranking, based on the improvement of teaching, research and the production of knowledge.
The statement was made by Lando Emanuel Ludi Pedro, the president of this institution that was opened on 13 October 2021, when spoking on Monday (Oct 14), at the opening ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year at the aforementioned educational establishment.
Under the motto: “From the kingdom to the world”, he said, this private higher education institution aims to become a hub for generating knowledge, innovation and research for the oil and gas sector, in which the municipality of Soyo is potential.
The branches of agriculture, agro-industry, tourism, logistics and transport were also referenced as part of the international projection strategy, which are also intended to contribute with innovation and scientific knowledge.
He informed that the institution is in a process of growth and transformation that implies greater organization and efficiency in its operation, which involves the implementation of the integrated administrative management system.
The opening ceremony of the new academic year took place simultaneously with the celebrations of the 4th anniversary of this university, marked on October 13th.
At the same event, the first edition of the institution's informative magazine was launched with the title “From the Kingdom to the World”, which portrays the activities carried out, in the most varied aspects, over the four years of INSPUNYL's existence.
INSPUNYL is located in the Kukala Kiaku neighborhood and has 20 classrooms, 3 labs and 2 agricultural fields for practical work, as well as a teaching staff made up of 58 teachers, including nationals and expatriates.
It has a total of 1,099 students from the 1st to the 4th year, with the first group of graduates in commercial management and marketing, financial management and accounting, computer engineering and Multimedia, Hotel Management and tourism and agricultural engineering being launched on the job market in 2025.
