Luanda - Communities will receive 654 news schools built by the government as part of the Integrated Plan of Intervention in the Municipalities (PIIM).
This was announced by minister of State and Social Sphere, Carolina Cerqueira, when addressing an opening 2021/2022 school year ceremony in Menongue municipality, south-east Cuando Cubango province.
Carolina Cerqueira said Tuesday that 515 schools belong to the primary school and 139 to 1st and 2nd cycles of the secondary schools.
The official said the new infrastructure will allow over 285,151 children and young people to study in better conditions.
