Luanda – Four thousand citizens, including nationals and foreigners, were trained in the areas of mechanics, metalwork, carpentry and cooking, by the Educational Support Center for the Social Development of Angola – Education for All of ADJAE, since 2007.
The aforementioned center, which also teaches computer courses, belongs to the Association for the Development of Angolan and Foreign Young People (ADJAE).
Speaking to ANGOP today, the ADJAE head, Tounkara Saidu, said that depending on demand, regional centers will be built in four provinces of the country, in order to reduce the movement of young people to the province of Luanda.
He informed that this year it is intended the implementation of courses in journalism, accounting, English, French, Portuguese and Arabic, an initiative that will feature Angolan and foreign trainers.
According to Tounkara Saidu, the training aims to facilitate the insertion of young people into the job market.
Toukara Saidu said that the institution has the support of the National Youth Council (CNJ), the Lebanese community in Angola, among others.
He announced, for soon, the ceremony to award diplomas to two hundred young people who participated in various professional courses.
Located in the municipality of Viana, in Luanda, the center has six classrooms.
