Mbanza-Kongo – At least 20 new teachers are needed at the Higher School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities (ESCISAH) in Mbanza Kongo, Zaire province, for the academic year 2024/2025.
Speaking to ANGOP on Tuesday, the director for the pedagogical area of that school, Ziwanuca Pedro, considered insufficient the 26 teachers, including eight Cubans, working at that higher education institution, opened in 2010.
He made it known that for the academic year 2024/2025, the School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities has 520 places available for the 7 courses taught at the aforementioned educational establishment.
Of the vacancies, 75 are for the Early Childhood Education course, 35 for Physics teaching, the same number for Mathematics and Chemistry teaching, 110 for Business Management and 160 vacancies for the History of Archeology course.
Ziwanuca Pedro explained that registration began on the 29th of July and ends on the 14th of this month. The admission tests are scheduled for upcoming Monday, the 19th.
As part of the restructuring program for public higher education units underway in the country, the institution gained administrative and financial autonomy, after being detached from “11 de Novembro” public university, based in Cabinda.
The Mbanza-Kongo Higher School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities has 16 classrooms and a computer lab. DMN/JL/CF/DOJ
