Luanda - The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESCTI) suspended the publication of the notice for accepting applications for the scholarship program, for this year, due to financial reasons.
The canceled notice refers to the Annual Sending Program for 300 Bachelors/Masters to the Best Universities in the World, regulated by Presidential Decree No. 67/19, of February 22nd and executed by the National Institute for Scholarship Management (INAGBE).
According to a statement to which ANGOP had access, this Wednesday, candidates admitted in previous editions of the program will continue to benefit from the rights conferred by scholarships.
By interrupting publication, MESCTI will undertake actions with a view to establishing agreements and partnerships with countries and institutions oversea, which offer good standard higher education in areas considered priorities, for national development and with controlled financial costs.
The teaching and non-teaching staff of public higher education institutions and young people in general who aspire to increase their knowledge to the level of master's, medical specialization and doctorate will be the beneficiaries of these agreements.
