Sumbe - A total of 2,000 scholarships for secondary and higher education institutions have been made available in Cuanza-Sul province, under a memorandum signed between educational institutions and the National Youth Council (CNJ), ANGOP learned on Thursday.
The information was disclosed by the CNJ chairperson, Isaías Kalunga, stressing that of the total of scholarships made available only 500 will be free, while the other 1500 will be subsidized, for the academic year 2024/2025.
He assured that the focus will continue to be on academic training, agro-business, access to the job market, projects linked to agriculture, in favor of the development of young people in that province.
The Provincial Youth Council has registered 44 youth organizations, 12 municipal councils, 17 communal councils and nine neighborhood councils. Cij /Lc/ALH/AMP
