Luanda - Angola is preparing itself to take part in the 43rd Session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to be hel in November 2023 in Paris, France.
To this end, the minister of Education, Luísa Maria Alves Grilo, as chairwoman of the Angolan National Commission for UNESCO (CNU) held a hybrid meeting with all ministerial departments that make up the CNU to prepare Angola's participation.
The minister presented the proposal for the activities that will mark the meeting of the national commissions for UNESCO, Africa region, which Angola will host in June 2024.
The meeting was attended by the minister of Culture and Tourism, Filipe Zau, the secretaries of State for Culture, Environment and Youth and, virtually, the Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Ana Maria Oliveira, and the Secretaries of State for Social Reintegration, Information Technologies and Higher Education.
