The donation comes as part of the preparations for the start of the 2024/2025 school year, scheduled for September 2nd.
With five classrooms, the religious institution has 360 students, it is a new establishment, but the school year was threatened by a lack of desks, according to the denomination's pastor, António Calei.
In turn, the director of Matala secondary school, Manuel Morais Sita, stressed that the computer lab is what the institution that debuts in the education system this school year was talking about, a 12-classroom equipment built under the PIIM and which will accommodate 900 students.
