Luanda - The urban district of Zango, located in the municipality of Viana (Luanda), has been deprived of electricity for 24 hours, due to a high voltage failure registered in one of the substations, last Thursday night.
According to the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE), because of this failure, until now, the central area of Zango 5 (municipality of Icolo and Bengo), as well as the neighborhoods of Zango 1, 2, 3, 4 and adjacent areas, are deprived of normal energy supply.
Faced with this situation, ENDE guarantees that everything is being done to urgently restore the supply of electricity to the affected areas.
On the other hand, ENDE clarifies that, so far, it “has not yet been able to overcome the damage” due to the rain that continues to fall intermittently since Thursday (28).
According to the National Electricity Distribution Company, while the work is taking place, the installations must be considered as if they were under voltage.
