Lubango - The micro-credit company, Wiliete Crédito, has Akz 500 million (US$ 551.270) available to finance agricultural and service projects in the province of Huíla this year.
The information reached ANGOP on Friday, in Lubango, by the institution's administrator, Fábio Cumpanhe, on the sidelines of the inauguration of its third agency in the capital of Huila, which created 14 direct jobs, a province where it has operated since 2018.
He detailed that of the amount available, each customer can receive up to Akz 7 million (US$ 7.717,78), with interest varying between 5 to 7% percent and reimbursement within a period of 18 months.
According to the source, the province of Huíla becomes the company's second location, after Benguela, where its headquarters are located, as it now has three agencies with 5k customers, out of a total of 12k spread across the country.
He highlighted that so far, in the 4 provinces where they operate, Akz 10 billion (US$US$ 11.025.400) have already been financed to 12 thousand clients, of which 7 thousand still have active credits and are yet to be repaid.
Meanwhile, the deputy-governor of the province of Huíla, for the technical sector and infrastructure, Hélio de Almeida, who witnessed the event, congratulated Wiliete Crédito on the opening of another branch, in the city of Lubango in Huíla.
He considered it to be a positive investment, as it gave employment opportunities to 14 young people from Lubango, in addition to now being another alternative for people who want to have access to loans in order to boost their businesses through these values made available by Wiliete, a contribution to the local economy.
