Cabinda – The provincial deputy-governor of Cabinda for the economic sector, Macário Romão Lembe, called on Thursday, in this city, for the reinforcement of mechanisms to combat infractions that occur along the border with the two neighboring countries.
The government official made this appeal during the presentation of the secretary of the National Authority for Economic Inspection and Food Safety (ANIESA) in the municipality of Cabinda, Adalberto Joaquim, to local Administration officials.
He said that ANIESA's action should focus mainly on monitoring trade carried out on the border between Angola, the Democratic Republics of Congo and Republic of Congo, in coordination with other related bodies.
In turn, Adalberto Joaquim, said that, in the first phase, the actions will be aimed at raising awareness among economic agents and traders throughout the entire area of the host municipality.
The act was witnessed by the municipal administration of Cabinda, Luís Avelino Yebo.
