Dundo - TAAG Angola Airlines resumes, as of the 21st of this month, flights from the country’s capital (Luanda) to Dundo, eastern province of Lunda Norte.
This was announced on Monday by the company's manager in Lunda Norte, António Braça, who said that in a first phase - December 21, 2020 - March 27, 2021 - flights will have a weekly frequency, every Monday.
Updated ticket prices vary, with hand-holding briefcase standing at Akz 30,000 Kwanzas, loads below 20 kilograms cost Akz 94,000 (economy class), and AKz 186,000 to AKz 205,000 for luggage under 30 kilograms (economic and business class).
Before the suspension of flights, in March of the current year, the price was 60,000 Kwanzas (economy class) and 80,000 Akz (business class).
António Braça said that biosafety conditions have been created at Kamaquenzo airport and testing for the return of commercial flights to Lunda Norte, through new aircraft (DAES 8-400).
The sale of tickets, which started on Monday, is being conducted in person and online, under strong biosafety measures at Kamaquenzo airport.
