Luanda - Angolan Airlines (TAAG) has launched its new visual identity for the Airbus A220 and B787 Dreamliner aircraft, with the reinforcement of PALANCA's visibility on the tail and wings of the aircraft, ANGOP learned on Tuesday.
According to a press release, the first aircraft in the TAAG fleet within this concept (new livery), is the Airbus A220-300, with a capacity for 137 passengers (12 in business class and 125 in economy class), with a delivery date scheduled for the third quarter of this year.
The new Airbus A220-300 will be available on local and regional flights, in a context in which important challenges are approaching, such as the transfer of TAAG's operation to the new Luanda Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport and the change in the competitive scenario, with the introduction of the Single African Air Transport Market (MUTAA/SAATM).
With this process, the Company is materializing its strategic plan with the growth of the fleet and destinations in order to attract more traffic and strengthen its regional connectivity.
TAAG is a leading airline in the aviation market in Angola, globally recognized and with sustained growth, currently offering 12 domestic destinations and 11 international destinations. In addition to passenger transport, its fleet also carries out cargo transport, a service that is increasingly essential for the development of the local ecosystem. HM/ASS/DOJ
